［ハイランダーイン］は2005年半ば、クライゲラヒ・ホテルで8年間総支配人を務めたダンカン・エルフィックと、ビジネスパートナーのイネス・マクファーソン、バー・ウイスキー部門のマネージャー皆川達也の3人でスタートしました。
スコットランド観光局による初めての訪問では、3つ星の評価を頂くことができました。次回の訪問が待ち望まれます・・・！
The Highlander Inn is in the centre of the village of Craigellachie, the heart of Scotland's Malt Whisky Trail.
With 5 bedrooms (all with 'en suite' facilities); bar, "club room"; outdoor patio; lounge; a la carte restaurant (tremendous food in both the bar and the restaurant); and private, off-street parking, it truly is a great little place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of Scotland.
We are open all year, and have a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere; a really cosy, hospitable "home from home".
The Inn was purchased in mid 2005 by Duncan Elphick who was General Manager of the Craigellachie Hotel of Speyside for over 8 years until this move, together with his business partner Innes Macpherson, and Co-Director and Bar and Whisky Manager, Tatsuya Minagawa.
As a member of VisitScotland's Quality Assurance Programme, we were delighted to have achieved a 3 star award on our initial inspection and now eagerly await the next visit.
