1798 David Robertson founded the distillery.
1816 John Robertson (excise officer who arrested Eunson) takes over.
1826 Robert Borwick takes over.
1840 George Borwick (son of Robert) takes over.
1869 James Borwick (brother of George) inherrits the distillery.
1876 Stuart & Mackay begin exporting to India and Norway.
1895 James Grant of Glenlivet Distillery bought the distillery.
1898 Expanded from 2 to 4 stills.
1937 Highland distilleries bought the distillery.
1986 Visitor Centre opened.
1997 18yo and 25yo launched.
1999 Highland Distillers is bought over by Edrington Group
2000 Visitor Centre awarded “Five Star Visitor Attraction”.
