In order to maximize the expression of the characteristics of the original Tomartin while respecting the balance at the time of vatting, distiller Graham Jungson transferred the original wine that had been aged for nearly 30 years in refill barrels to first fill Oloroso sherry barrels, and then transferred the later aged original wine and the original wine aged for more than 36 years in refill barrels to the first fill Oloroso barrels. The original wine was transferred to first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and aged for a later period of time. It has won four awards at the same time, including the prestigious Best Scotch at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It is limited to 180 bottles in Japan.
